Triangle Freethought (TFS) is a chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and an affiliate of American Atheists and the American Humanist Association. We have no official affiliation with the other organizations listed below and inclusion is not an endorsement. These links are for your convenience in locating organizations on the national level.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation engages in publishing books and pamphlets, in producing films and music, in awarding scholarships, and in conducting court challenges of violations of the separation between church and state. It works as an umbrella for those who are free from religion and are committed to the cherished principle of separation of state and church.
Atheist Alliance of America is an incubator for secular activists and community organizations working to normalize atheism, unify atheist organizations, and provide humanitarian aid.
The Cultural and Secular Jewish Organization is an international organization focused on promoting and educating a secular Jewish world view. It is comprised of communities, schools, and individual members.
The Freethought Society advocates for the separation of religion and government and seeks to end negative stereotyping of the nontheist community as we promote critical thinking, education, and science appreciation.

Secular Woman envisions a future in which women without supernatural beliefs have the opportunities and resources they need to participate openly and confidently as respected voices of leadership in the secular community and every aspect of society.
The Temple of Apotheism is a religious philosophical organization. They seek to rationalize progressive science with the profound impact of spiritual awakening. Apotheism is the belief in the divinity of humanity, and the awakening of our own internal power. Apotheists do not rely on a higher being or the existence of a supernatural entity for divine assistance.
American Atheists envisions a world in which public policy is made using the best evidence we have rather than religious dogma and where religious beliefs are no longer seen as an excuse for bigotry or cause to receive special treatment from the government. They fight for religious equality for all Americans by protecting what Thomas Jefferson called the “wall of separation” between state and church created by the First Amendment.
Black Nonbelievers provides an informative, caring, festive and friendly community, and connects with other Blacks (and allies) who are living free of religion and might otherwise be shunned by family and friends. Instead of accepting dogma, BN believes truth and morality are determined through reason and evidence.
Ex-Muslims of North America advocates for acceptance of religious dissent, promotes secular values, and aims to reduce discrimination faced by those who leave Islam.
The mission of the Hispanic American Freethinkers is to serve as a resource and support to all Hispanic freethinkers in promoting the search for truth through science, rational thought, skepticism, humanism, logic, and the scientific criticism of all un-natural (i.e. supernatural) claims and dogmas.
The Secular Coalition for America advocates for religious freedom, as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and works to bring respect and visibility to nontheists.
The Society for Humanistic Judaism offers a way to celebrate Jewish life for those who identify as cultural, secular, humanistic, atheist/agnostic/freethinker, “just Jewish,” “spiritual not religious,” “recovering from religion,” Jew-ish, Jew-curious, part-Jewish…and our friends, family, and allies.
