RISE Against Hunger Volunteer and Fundraising Event

Experience a joyful and productive day working to alleviate hunger globally by acting locally. This is an opportunity to “give back” with an event that brings together various secular organizations in the Triangle rising together against hunger.
Two Ways To Help
This will be a joint activity with the Ethical Humanist Society of the Triangle and other triangle secular groups.
Please register and consider donating to our team. However, a donation is not required to participate as a volunteer as Triangle Freethought Society will cover our required donation through a charitable grant from the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
You’ll join a fast assembly line preparing dehydrated meal packages. RISE keeps it fun with great music and loud gongs when interim milestones are met. This is not a physically taxing activity and children are welcome. Older folks can also sit if needed.
